Services for Law Firms – the Professional’s Choice

Following the introduction of fees in the Employment Tribunal, reports indicate a significant drop in the number of employment claims being pursued.  Furthermore, as businesses gradually recognise a reduced risk of being sued, they are beginning to take greater risks and rely less on support from HR professionals or employment lawyers. As a result of this culture shift, some small or medium size law firms are finding that they can no longer support a full-time employment law solicitor as part of their team.

Should your practice require input from an experienced employment lawyer, perhaps to support a corporate transaction or to help a client who requires employment contracts, TJD Law would be happy to assist on a consultancy basis.  This enables you to promote a broader range of services to your clients and, as a bespoke firm undertaking purely employment law services, you also have the assurance that there is no risk of client poaching.

Alternatively, you may need assistance in relation to one of your own members of staff – a matter that you may not wish to share with your competitors.   As a small, niche practice, TJD Law is ideally placed to offer the levels of discretion and confidentiality that such a matter would require.

We already act for a number of law firms on this basis and, although TJD Law was only formed in 2016, we are already developing a reputation as the primary choice for other legal professionals.

Services for HR Professionals – Strength in Depth

If you are an independent HR professional, a collaboration with TJD Law may offer your practice greater strength in depth, or simply a valuable second opinion when it is most needed.  Alternatively, there may be circumstances where the availability of ‘legal advice privilege’ is of critical importance to your client.

Our responsive, friendly approach, combined with our expertise and flexible pricing, make TJD Law a perfect choice of partner in meeting the HR and employment law needs of your clients.
